Combining tradition and innovation, this knife is characterized by its sand handle extracted from the Mont St Michel bay and agglomerated with a resin. Mont St Michele Bay is located on the North coast between Brittany and Normandy and with an average of over 30 feet, experiences some of the largest tides in Europe.

This unique patented process made in collaboration with Murs du Monde represents a genuine first in the history of international cutlery. This sand is taken in very small quantities from heavily sanded areas, with permission form local authorities. The impact on the environment from teh removal of these materials is negligible.

Each knife is made in France, on the Aubrac plateau in the Aveyron region.
