The Victory Loans Honor Flag of 1918 is seen on this individual subscriber pin. There were two variations of this flag: Subscribers as seen, and one for those who had family in the service. They appeared in the form of cards which accompanied this pin, posters, banners and the like. It was not uncommon to see windows festooned with cards as a sign of patriotism.
