The MSR Flat Top Rings are precision CNC machined from aircraft grade aluminum for reduced weight. These rings are designed after our X-SKEL Mount and feature a steel cross bolt for superior absorption and positive lock for guaranteed return to zero. The MSR Flat Top Rings are available in a quick detachable wingnut version for fast removal and installation or a ½" tactical nut for a more permanent solution. Both of these features allow the use of multiple optics without the loss of zero.

These rings are designed to locate the reticle of the optic to be precisely the same height as factory iron sights, the Ideal Height; giving the operator the same positioning behind the weapon regardless of which sight system is being deployed. The MSR Rings are an optimal choice for operators who may require different types of sighting systems depending on the situation.

  • Horizontally split rings modeled after the X-SKEL and R.A.M.P. Mount design.
  • Skeletonized ring body and caps for weight reduction.
  • Places your optic at the IDEAL HEIGHT for Modern Sporting Rifle platforms.
  • Quickly detach and reattach the QD wingnut style with no loss of zero.
  • #8 Torx style fasteners with steel threaded inserts.
  • Square crossbolt for positive engagement of ring to base and superior recoil absorption.

Loosen both wingnuts* on the rings and install on your Picatinny style rail in appropriate positions. (Warne recommends mounting the front ring with the cross bolt in the farthest forward slot on Flat Top AR"s.) Push each ring towards the muzzle and tighten both wingnuts* thumb and forefinger tight. (Do not over tighten or use pliers) Remove the four cap screws from each top cap with the supplied T-15 wrench and remove the top caps. Place your scope in the rings and replace the top caps and screws. Slowly tighten cap screws evenly and leave loose enough to adjust for eye relief. Level the reticle and tighten the cap screws in a criss cross pattern to 25 in/lbs. *If your rings are equipped with Tactical Nuts, Warne recommends 65in/lbs torque.
