Hallicrafters SX-42 — Overview
The Hallicrafters SX-42 is a highly collectible, post-WWII communications receiver introduced around 1946. It’s famous for its combination of high-end performance, wide frequency coverage, and striking industrial design by Raymond Loewy’s firm (one of the most influential industrial designers of the 20th century).
