The SLEDS 5.56 Retention Flap was designed to drop-in to our 5.56 SLEDS Placard, SLEDS AVS FLAP, SLEDS M4/AR Pouch, Mini-TAPS, DRIP, and more. It provides additional over-the-top retention and coverage for magazines.
Instead of Velcro, we opted to use a silent flap closure system. A pull-tab with shock-cord will lock around a tri-glide to keep the flap closed. Pulling the tab downwards and away will release the flap. Each flap connects to the rear of the placard/pouch with a 12" piece of coreless paracord. The flap can be adjusted at both ends for different magazines and placards/pouches.
These flaps are sold individually and will come with all components required for installation.
