Hard core penetration Umarex Air Javelin arrow vs. big tree!

Posted by Kenneth Roche on 10th Nov 2020

For experimentation purposes, I aimed at an old, dead tree on my property. With a fresh Umarex 2x12g (sold separately) 88g converter, I shot into that inanimate object and notwithstanding, the provided arrow sat intact in the old tree with almost 1" penetration. More impressive is upon examination of the arrow, the engineered carbon construction proved Umarex's claim of a solid, reliable, re-usable arrow! No bullsh*t! However, I daresay that anyone should be practicing without reasonable and legal measures to allow simple and innocent aiming practice. On the otherhand, if you have rodents snacking on your hard-earned farmer produce, then certainly take advantage of this air javelin to protect crops and livestock with the addition of recommended "Blood Bugs", engineered, expensive, purposely for the Air Javelin. I have not tried them yet, but at equivalent 50 grains vs. 100 grains for inexpensive "Made in China" narratives, I can wait. BOTTOM LINE: Umarex has over-engineered these excellent carbon fibre arrows with legal "do not" practilities. After shooting, always examine for any cracks/splitting, and be careful of whatever you decide to replace the tip. These are solely designated for the impressive Umarex Air Javelin. Take care no COVID-19 here, all the best to you and yours.
