The Elevate 2.0 features Temple Reef™s Direct Sensory System (DSS). It is a groundbreaking and painstaking method of rod construction that amplifies blank sensitivity to enhance feel. Our hands are attuned to vibrations transmitted via the line, to the blank and ultimately the reel seat. With advances in low-stretch braided line and highly sensitive carbon fiber blanks, we have already come a long way. However, the weakest link in this chain has traditionally been at the reel seat where outdated construction techniques cause vibration loss and therefore information loss right where we hold the rod.
