The Shaker is slightly shorter and comes with a Schmidt Easy Flow 9000 medium point with black ink and will fit all other "Parker style" refills. Shakers tend to fit better in shirt pockets without sticking out.

The biggest feature that sets these pens apart from others is an all titanium click mechanism that we make for these pens. This click mechanism is not found on any other pens. It is unique to the Tactile Turn Movers & Shakers. It is the ultimate click mechanism. It will withstand abuse and use and last for generations. It also has a long stroke length which means that when the refill is retracted, it hides about an eighth of an inch or 3mm inside the pen. This means the chances of ink getting on your clothes is very unlikely.

Texture

Tactile Turn pens are known for their texture. It's where our name comes from. The tactile feeling when you pick one of these pens up is hard to describe, but it allows you to control the pen exactly the way you want. Machined pens often forget about grip, or have uncomfortable grips. It won't bite into your skin, but it provides just the right amount of grip. It is subtle, but it also protects the pens from light scratches by providing a textured surface that disguises light scratches much better than a smooth surface.

CNC Machined Pens

Tactile Turn was one of the first fully machined pen manufacturers. We don't do injection molded parts like most other pens. We make parts one by one on our computer numerically controlled lathes in our own shop in Texas. Brass

The alloy of brass we use has a fairly high copper content so it has many of the antimicrobial properties that copper does. It machines beautifully and as you see the machining videos of these pens you'll see why I like to work with it. All parts of these pens are made from brass except the clip made from stainless steel and the mechanism made from titanium.
