Protector P21 Clip-On Baton

Measures 21" extended, 8 1/4" collapsed. Black chrome plated 4130 striking surface. 7075-T6 aluminum middle shaft and handle are forged to shape and precision machined. Cross check knurling with spiral micro grooves result in smooth, secure grip. Expanded by sharply flicking the baton straight up and down. Retracted by striking the tip downward on a hard surface. Hand packaged.

    This thing is beautifully made. Looks very high quality. Daughter carries it with her on campus to discourage anyone from trying anything stupid. With very little training this can even the score between a man and a small women. Clips neatly to a side pouch on her bag for easy access and is very light but when deployed seems very rigid and strong. Very hard to close but that’s not what matters. Pretty sure the description is wrong. The striking surface is made of 4140 steel, not 4130, according to the ASP website.
