With a quality headlamp in your pack, you have quick access to a light source for reading a map, spotting wildlife or simply finding your way through the woods. The best headlamps outlast the night while also giving you enough brightness to clearly see your surroundings. 

On those moonless nights, it can be difficult to see, even with excellent eyesight. But a quality headlamp will keep you on track.

The Pathfinder UL Scout headlamp has a USB-C QUICK CHARGE port, a built-in battery, and a USB charging cable.

You also get a Velcro attachment, which can be used to attach the headlamp to a hat or backpack with compatible surface. 

Why You Should Have a Headlamp with Green and Red Light Options 

The Pathfinder UL Scout Headlamp gives you three light colors: white, red, and green. 

• The white light provides optimal illumination. Choose between 2 and 365 lumens for up to 200 hours of light on a single charge. 
• The red light (High and Low setting) option is less harsh, so your eyes will adjust to the light more quickly. You’ll also have better vision in dark areas – red light lets you focus faster and gives you better peripheral vision than white light. It’s also less distracting, so a headlamp with a red light is a must if you’re camping with others and need to see in the dark without waking up your crew. Red light is preferred when hunting as many animals are less sensitive.
• Green light gives you more detail, making it useful for reading maps or navigation devices at night. Switch your Pathfinder headlamp from its white light to green when checking your compass. Green light also is better at penetrating long distances, letting you see what’s moving in the distance. If you’re night fishing, the green light will penetrate the water more deeply.
