It all began in 1883 in a small shop near Heidelberg University. It was already possible to purchase the Kaweco iron gall ink at this early stage. Over the years, the ink and the writing instruments developed further, but the quality remains the top priority. The Kaweco ink in colour royal blue is water-soluble, cruelty-free and vegan.

Kaweco ink is compatible with any type of fountain pen. Our converters are particularly well-suited to using the high-quality Kaweco inks from the ink bottle. Converters are a type of reusable cartridge and are therefore incredibly sustainable.
