Canadian Armed Forces 1897 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword

Description

Produced in accordance with the British MOD specifications UK/SC/6202 Issue 1 using the tooling purchased from Wilkinson Sword Ltd. in 2005. As such, they also meet the Canadian DND/DSSPM specifications.
Blade

Dimensions: 825 x 25 x 6.5mm
Specifications: forged stainless steel blade; hardened to ca 48-52° HRC Rockwell, well-tempered and hand-polished
Design: acid etched both sides with the NEW Canadian Army Universal pattern for Infantry swords

Guard: pierced guard with Royal cypher design, hand-polished, nickel-plated with nickel-plated brass cap

Grip: covered with genuine sharkskin, wrapped with three silver-plated wires

Scabbard: nickel-plated, hand-polished steel tube with two attachment rings
