The small telescope is crafted of polished brass, and it's cleverly hidden in the handle. Once, the top of the walking stick is unscrewed, the telescope can be pulled up out of the shaft and swung forward on its hinges so that you can extend the scope and look through the eyepiece. The shaft is a premium reddish-brown wood that breaks-down into three pieces, which are designated by three brass spacers where they unscrew. The tip of the shaft is also brass, and it has a no-slip rubber toe.
