Redline Airsoft SR-M Hurricane HPA Conversion Kit

The Hurricane is the flagship of our new SR line of engines. The SR-M Hurricane is an evolution of the now famous N7 Milsim. Both engines being semi only, closed bolt mechanical- pneumatic drop-in HPA engines.

Although the Hurricane shares no parts with the N7 Milsim. The Hurricane does have the same outstanding performance and reliability that N7 Milsim owners have come know and love, with the added benefit of increased air efficiency.

The fact that the Hurricane is mechanical-pneumatic means that there is no battery or FCU needed. Just plug in your regulated air source and you are good to go. That also means that even rain and snow are not a worry since there are no electronics to short or corrode.

Due to its true closed bolt design, the Hurricane is much more consistent in seating the BB in the bucking from shot to shot. When compared to typical open bolt HPA engines, the result is more consistent shot to shot velocity, tighter groupings and greater accuracy at range.

A unique feature of the Hurricane is that it uses a mechanically sealed, dump chamber. Rather than relying on solenoid dwell to control the volume of air used to propel the BB, the Hurricane fills an internal chamber at the pressure set by the users external supply regulator. When fired, this air chamber is mechanically sealed off from the supply and the chambers contents released down the barrel to propel the BB. This feature contributes to the Hurricane’s excellent shot to shot consistency, with no air wasted do to improper dwell settings.

The Hurricane is also super simple to set up. Since there is no FCU to tune, you just set your supply regulators output pressure to match the Joules required and you are good to go. The proper amount of air needed for each shot regardless of BB weight, barrel length or any other factor is all that is released.

The Hurricane fits most Ver-2 gearboxes without modification. Gearboxes with heavy reinforcing in the geardrive area behind the trigger my require the removal of some of the reinforcement.
