Pattern 1827 George VI Royal Reserve Officer Sword made by Gieve Matthews & Seagrove Ltd.
The condition of the item is good decently kept and with natural wear occurred, the blade itself is in good condition with minor stain that can be clean and a bit of a tiny fade on the upper part of the sword, the lower part of the sword shows small bits of rust on the engraving like pattern on both side of the sword and the edge remain original and not tampered with. the scabbard of the sword is in good condition, however the brass fitting is a bit loosen and the leather scabbard show minor bits of paint fade that is hardly visible. the braids of the sword is good however due to decades of handling and such it shows it's natural wear and marks that is hardly visible.
