Tactical Assault Panel (TAP) chest rig that is genuine issue as part of the improved Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying System (MOLLE) II. The TAP is complete with all the harness and accessory straps necessary for wearing as a standalone chest rig or attachment to vests and packs. The TAP has six (6) pouches integrated for carrying Mags. The pockets feature a flip back stile top closure that secures via Velcro hook and loop. There are an additional two (2) larger pouches on either end of the TAP. The pouches are hard plastic backed for stability and are designed to carry larger items, such as but not limited to radios, GPS, or like items. The larger pouches also feature the flip back still top flap closure with an exception that the height of the closure flap is adjustable to compact for various items. In the back of the TAP are three (3) mesh pockets for storing of mission essential items such as but not limited to maps and marking panels. Two of the pockets feature top flap closure that secure via Velcro hook and loop, while the third pocket features a single pull zipper closure. The front of the TAP is covered in PALS (MOLLE) webbing allowing for the attachment of additional pouches and/or gear as required or desired.
