The  NIJ Level III light weight Shields incorporates the latest materials, technology, lightweight design and a comfortable handle system. The shield has been tested by Chesapeake per NIJ0101.06

            (1)  7.62x51mm M80 Ball NATO FMJ Steel Jacket Spire PT BT with a nominal weight of 147 grains 

            (2) 7.62x39mm Mild Steel Core (MSC) with a nominal weight of 123 grains 

            (3) 5.56x45mm M193 BT with a nominal weight of 55 grains

-           Meets or exceeds National Institute of Justice ballistic NIJ III standards.

-           Surface finish: Polyuria Coating, resistant to water and fire
