WWI British Army Pattern 1907 Bayonet with Scabbard – Wilkinson, Dated December 1917
This is an original British Army Pattern 1907 bayonet manufactured by Wilkinson, dated December 1917. It includes the original scabbard. The blade is partially sharpened—an uncommon feature, as most bayonets were issued unsharpened during the First World War. Soldiers on the front lines would often sharpen their bayonets themselves for practical use in combat.
The condition of the item is good used with visible sign of natural wear and minor bits of fade, the marking maybe a bit difficult to read due to bits of natural fade occurred over the decades, the blade itself is appeared to be partially sharpened by hand from field use.
