The J-Series CORE airsoft rifles are made primarily from nylon fiber reinforced polymer, which greatly cuts down on weight, and stands up better to abuse than polymer or metal.
Metal components are used for those components which are best-suited for zinc and aluminum alloy or steel. These include the barrel mount, dummy bolt carrier, rear sight, front mount, barrel, dust cover, safety, trigger guard, stock's foot, and the rear QD swivel.
The ESA2 (Easy Spring Access) quick-change spring system allows you to change your spring simply, in under a minute, without disassembling the rifle Simply remove the dust cover, fold the stock, and unscrew the screw holding the spring guide.
The version 3 gearbox is reinforced and ready to take an M140 spring, and features 8mm bearings, steel gears, lightweight polycarbonate piston with steel teeth, 4 anti-reversal latches, Type-O cylinder, and a steel circuit breaker.
