The GLx 6-2450 FFP rifle scope has all the new technologies of our other two GLx scope options. This one is optimized for precision shooting at long to extremely long ranges. GLx 6-24 x50 FFP model is available with the Athena® BPR MIL reticle, which provides the advanced ranging tools of ACSS® with a refined MIL-Grid. The GLx 6-24 x50 FFP scope body gives you maximum useable magnification in a package that is still convenient to mount on bolt action rifles without the need for high rings and adjustable stock. The GLx 6-2450 is an excellent choice for precision engagement of targets out to 1,000 yards and beyond.
About the reticle design:
Athena BPR MIL includes very fine subtensions for accurate ranging and fire correction at extended ranges and high magnification. The Athena holdover grid features dots at .5 MIL intervals extending 15 MIL down from center and 6 MIL to each side, allowing for holdover shooting at extremely long ranges in any wind conditions. Athena BPR MIL is simply the most accurate reticle in the world for shooting beyond 1,000 yards using the milliradian mathematical system.
