Since the beginning of the 1960s, the Bundeswehr has had the food container, insulated.
German version of the US Mermite food storage container. But the really cool part is, it is the same size as a fuel jerry can and fits in the jerry can tray to keep it out of the way on smaller vehicles like jeeps.
