Canadian Armed Forces '82 Pattern Rucksack

I would recommend the Oshawa Hero Outdoors store. The staff were friendly, and retrieved my rucksack as soon as I arrived. I will order from them again.

Carried one for years in my late teens to mid twenties as I hitched all over NB. Even was shown how to properly wear one at a Fredericton Club by a few Infantry lads. Ended up carrying one in basic for awhile. The one I bought here is in better shape than my old one in St. Jean.

Carried one of these for 20 years. If you set it up properly it will ride well. Take care of it and it will take care of you. Sad day when I had to hand it back in to clothing. Get the sleeping bag carrier as well. Learn how to pack it with the proper kit. This supplier seems to have all you need (no not endorsing them) but nice to get all your kit in one place and the price is very good! Bivy bag (must have), ground sheet, 1sleeping bag, flees liner and bag liner. The rest is up to the adventure you find yourself in. Cheers
