AK Style 170rd Midcap Magazines by Angel Custom
Okay, so first of all, as usual the company exaggerated the capacity. The closer you get to 170rds, the greater chance that the mag will release BB’s, I’ve settled on 120rds as the maximum capacity and that has failed occasionally. The exterior aesthetic is pleasing, the material appears to be of a decent quality and the AK mag look is excellent, it’s what made me buy them. As for function, they feed well enough but be aware that they require the user’s attention when changing mags. Probably due to the AK mag shape, you need to be sure that it’s locked in place, the usual M4 mag slap won’t do it. I’m confident that in time muscle memory will kick in and this will cease to be an issue. Overall they’re average mid caps and if you’re looking for a different look then go for it. Personally, at the current price, once mine die I won’t be getting more.
