A no goofin' around, straight forward design with only subtle ergonomic adaptations for modern hard use. The edge is wedge ground for optimum small branch clearing and heavy field use. The main grind angle is optimized for the S7 steel the tool is made from in an effort to balance edge strength and depth of cut properties. The flat backed head is perfect for improvisational hammering or batoning as well. Slight forward rake to the handle and head offer a unique mechanical advantage for the hardest of field work. The contoured G10 grips offer the very best grip possible. This is an un-stylized Hawk made for the real world and made in a perfect size for back country exploring.
