Canadian Armed Forces Arctic Mukluks

I had a couple pairs as a kid growing up in the NWT. These boots are in better shape than any pair I have wore in the past. Now we just need a real winter!

The cold waste lands of Hoth can’t be properly scanned as the scanning equipment on land freezes before they can do there job. And scanning from Orbit can’t be done to the thick cold atmosphere Theses boots will be a highly valuable asset for those on ground scanning deployments on Hoth!! For the Empire and Legion!!

Great purchase, had a pair of these boots a long time ago and got back into snowshoeing and skidooing. These boots with an extra pair of liners are the best for extreme cold weather activities. My boots were in very good used condition. Pleased with the purchase.

I have been researching the Canadian Military Surplus Mukluks for some time now. I already own a pair of the US Miltary Mukluks (green canvas) and am completely satisfied with those. The Canadian Military Mukluks take it to another level. Hero Outdoors had a great price as well as the 11M (US) size that I wear, in stock. They arrived quickly from Hero Outdoors in Canada to my home in VT. Excellent packaging and everything intact with nothing missing. The boots are both the correct size 11M, as well as the mesh insoles, the extra thick felt insoles and the double duffle wool inserts. The boots are in good used conditioned, as I expected. There is staining on the rubber as well as the heavy duty canvas uppers. This is not an issue for me as it is stated on the website as to the condition of the mukluks. I am sure that most of the stains can be removed or lightened up with a little Dawn dish soap and water. There is a slight deterioration of the rubber edge where it seals against the upper canvas but this does not affect the seal at all. I will probably run a thin bead of Shoe Goo along the edges to prevent further deterioration. The boots fit my size (US) size 11M foot perfectly. The full sole and heal provides excellent stability. These are great boots for Arctic conditions. Be sure to use them when the temps are well below freezing. Your feet will remain toasty warm even in the coldest of temperatures. I am very happy with my purchase and service from Hero Outdoors. I highly recommend them.
